5、Character: Light one is white, friable masses or bulky, white powder, odorless. Relative density is 2.2. Melting point is 350℃. It’s stable in air. When heated to 700℃, it decomposes to carbon dioxide and magnesium oxide. It’s almost insoluble in water, but it imparts a slight alkaline reaction. It is insoluble in ethanol, but dissolves, with effervescence, in dilute acids.
6、Usage: It’s used as nutrient, flour treatment agent, anti-caking agent and leavening agent. It could be used in wheat powder and gum ingredients.
7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
8、Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
