5.Character: It is white loose fine powder. Odorless, slightly bitter taste. Easy deliquescence . Decomposed into CaCO3 and Acetone when heated to 160ºC. Soluble in water.slightly soluble in ethanol.
6.Usage: Used as antifungal agent, dough leavening agent, regulator, buffer, tissue improver, curing agent, nutritional supplement, chelating agent in the food industry such as leavening agent of baking
products and cakes.Fermentation assistant agent, buffering agent, curing agent (gelation)of bread and biscuit ,tissue modifier of the yeast food meat products etc..It can increase the saccharifying power and the fermentation ability when used in brewing.
7.Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. the net weight of each bag is 25kgs.
8.Storage and transportation: it should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse. Kept away from heat and moisture during transportation. Unloaded with care , so as to avoid damage.Furthermore  it must be stored separately from poisonous substance.
